Hotel Am Rhein - Wesseling

The place had reasonable prices and provided a pleasant stay during a holiday with great weather.

The property offers reasonable prices, rooms are a nice size and fully-equipped with coffee and tea, as example. It offers friendly services and has a satisfactory breakfast choices. I will come back, the stay was pleasant.

Location: the hotel was really close to a rail station with very easy access to both Cologne. And it's not too far from China Restaurant Kanton, ate there once or twice...

I had a fantastic stay at a simple hotel near the Rhein. My room had a beautiful view of the river, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and offered a variety of options. The location was great for visiting Phantasialand, just a short drive away. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and lovely setting.

The website was a little confusing, i thought we had selected a superios room with minibar, bath, etc, but it turned out to be a room with a river view and coffee making facilites

Well priced accommodation with stunning setting near a rail station, Wesseling ein Ort and local restaurants. A nice size and fully-equipped room facing river.

This place is a gem for those on a budget! the staff is super helpful and friendly, which always makes a stay better. Added bonus: free parking included 🚗. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

The hotel is a converted factory which has been developed with modern faciltities and furnishings. It is used as conference hotel - indeed meetings were taking place in the breakfast room which seemed a little strange. We had booked a superior double room with a view of the Rhine - we had anticipated some good views of the river but could only see the Rhine if we stood up to look out of the relatively small windows - we did not feel that the room was worth the extra 20 euros we paid for the 'so called' river view. Due to overbooking we were upgraded to a suite which comprised two rooms with separate narrow single beds and a small lounge. As a couple we'd hoped for the more normal approach in Germany of two single beds pushed together to form a kingsized bed and did not feel up to moving furniture ourselves. The kettle in our room triggered the trip switch so we had the hassle of getting the electricity restored and negotiating for a replacement kettle - we were told at first that they had no spare ones, but did produce one when we pushed for it. The staff were friendly and did try to be helpful. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with lots of choice. There is no restaurant service in the evening - just the option to have a readymade pizza or other light snack - but there are some restaurants in the town.

Room with river view, but we could only see the water when we stood upright. A ship with running motor laid under our window during the night. We had to close the window to be able to sleep.

The location here is fantastic, very close to a theater, and the breakfast offers a wide range of choices that are really good.

Breakfast, it should have available hot milk.

Loved the suite with a view over the Rhine, could have stayed there all day. the location of the hotel is exceptionally nice and magnificent, just a 10-15 minutes' walk from Euro.

Lovely hotel, but the location very disapointing as the location, although you could not get closer to thr river Rhine, was in a very industrialised town, not the place I would have chosen had the description been fairer.
